「威邁思電信」、「威達有線」 率先聯手
建置全台無縫隙寬頻無線通訊世界
取得南區WiMAX執照的威達有線電視公司與取得北區執照的威邁思電信公司昨(15)日共同宣佈，成立「台灣WiMAX服務策略聯盟」，成為全台第一個完成WiMAX南北整合的全區經營聯盟，務求在最短的時間內提供全台民眾一個品質優良、使用便利的無縫隙無線通訊世界，率先實現提供無線、高速、大頻寬行動影音服務的承諾。
「威邁思電信」是由東訊公司與威寶電信合資成立，取得WiMAX北區執照；「威達有線」則是由午陽集團投資，取得WiMAX南區執照。為了回應國家通訊傳播委員會鼓勵的基站資源共享、重視環保的概念，威邁思電信與威達有線電視達成共識，成立「台灣WiMAX服務策略聯盟」，希望整合雙方資源及優勢，擘劃出全台最無懈可擊的WiMAX系統，以儘速推出服務，搶得市場先機。威邁思電信與威達有線都有信心能順利在最短時間內完成系統建設，儘速提供全台消費者最優質的WiMAX整合服務。
「威邁思電信」董事長劉兆凱表示，威邁思電信對於提升台灣WiMAX產業，已在全球通訊產業佔一席之地，具有強烈的使命感，因此早在取得執照前，即確立尋求同業策略聯盟的政策，以有效整合與共享資源，不僅可降低營運成本，更可快速完成網路佈建及提供服務，掌握市場先機，而這正是WiMAX業者成敗關鍵。

「威達有線」董事長賴富源指出，威達有線是全國第一家取得市話執照的有線電視業者，在目前擁有的有線電視網路、網際網路與市內電話網路裡提供Triple Play的整合服務。四網合一始終是威達的企業經營願景，從爭取WiMAX執照的那一刻起，即開始積極整合現有的語音、寬頻上網、IPTV與WiMAX無線網路為基礎的衍生應用服務。威達有線不僅要將優質的四合一服務介紹給南部消費市場，更要透過策略結盟的資源整合，南北串連，將威達有線的高畫質數位影音內容快速分享給全台灣的用戶。
針對此次的策略結盟，賴富源董事長也提到，威邁思電信不僅擁有電信產業的資源與經驗，並且對於以最快速度提供最佳WiMAX服務的理念也與威達有線一致，因此雙方決定攜手儘速完成WiMAX建置並開台營運，成為台灣第一個開台營運，提供全台無縫隙的無線通訊服務。

First half of 2007: 8.1 percent more passengers
During the first six months of 2007, a total of 9,702,855 passengers flew from, to or via Zurich. As compared to the first half of 2006, this represents an increase of 8.1 percent. The number of flight movements rose by 2.1 percent.

Web check-in now also available for small, medium-sized and charter airlines
More airlines than ever before are offering passengers an online check-in facility via their web sites. And the number is growing. Customers are now not only able to book their flights via the Internet but can also choose their seat and print out their boarding card right from home. After arriving at the airport, customers who have used this online facility simply hand over their baggage at a specially defined drop-off desk at the designated check-in area.
Enjoying air travel despite physical disabilities
Since 2004, legislation has been in place in Switzerland to secure non-discriminatory access to public transport facilities for the handicapped. Zurich Airport and its partners are committed to making travel as pleasant as possible for all passengers, including those who have a disability. To achieve this goal, a number of special services are available free of charge to travellers with a disability.
Airport Shopping to be remodelled – from 17 April 2008 enjoy even more selection
Airport Shopping is going to be expanded so customers can have even more choice as of 17 April 2008. Remodelling is being done on Check-in 3 level to make room for more shops that will complement the selection offered by Airport Shopping.

“La Corbeille” bar has increased its seating capacity
“La Corbeille” bar, situated on level 1 of the Airside Center, was unveiled in a new design early this year and has since been growing in popularity. In response to the heightened demand, “La Corbeille” added two new seating units just before the start of the summer holidays.

Lots of attractions at this year’s Terrace Festival
This year’s Terrace Festival at Zurich Airport (which offers attractions for visitors of all ages) will take place from 24 to 26 August. Its motto is “The Spirit of Flying”, and this year it will be an especially big event, with the festive activities encompassing the observation decks B and E, as well as Areal 102 and Eventdock.

Interview with Werner H. Wüest, Airport Police at Zurich Airport
The department of the Airport Police in charge of access control is responsible for all aspects of security related to passengers, freight, baggage and mail. Every day as many as 350 staff are on duty at the Zurich Airport’s access control points. Werner H. Wüest currently heads up this department, and at the end of the month he will be retiring after 33 years of service with the Airport Police. Here he talks about his experiences with the new security regulations, passengers’ feelings about airport security, and his own future in the field of aviation safety.

第31屆金鼎獎得獎名單揭曉
主題：第31屆金鼎獎得獎名單揭曉。
行政院新聞局於今（17）日下午在臺灣大學醫學院國際會議中心舉行第31屆金鼎獎頒獎典禮。今年金鼎獎主軸定位為「喜閱 金鼎」，期望全民以喜悅的心情，養成讀書的好習慣，建立「喜閱」的書香社會。
謝志偉局長頒發特別貢獻獎予三民書局發行人劉振強，表彰他為台灣印刷文化及文化傳承所作的傑出貢獻；早年劉發行人以一己之力動用人力、物力自行研發字體正確、優美的排版系統，為台灣印刷文化事業立下根基。劉振強先生創立三民書局迄今已55年，出版社會科學、自然科學、人文藝術、大學用書、兒童、文學、史哲叢書等各領域書籍高達七千多種。此外，他並秉持文化傳承理念，陸續編纂出版工具書及古籍今譯注書刊，系列出版三民文庫、世紀文庫及滄海文庫，而獲得此項殊榮。
新聞局指出，今年金鼎獎開場儀式特別以現代舞台劇方式，顯示不同生活、不同環境、不同角度、不同身分，皆可呈現喜悅來自閱讀，處處充滿喜閱的金鼎精神。謝志偉局長並帶領出版業精英及文字工作者代表將象徵出版業終生的堅持、文字工作者不斷的自我創新以及民眾將閱讀落實於實際生活中三項喜悅元素，象徵性地倒入金鼎中，期與全民共創書香社會。
新聞局表示，在這一年一度文化出版事業的盛會中，特別邀請吳三連台灣史料基金會秘書長向陽、第30屆特別貢獻獎得主陳憲仁、財團法人國家文化藝術基金會董事長李魁賢、資深漫畫家劉興欽、資深兒童作家林良、格林文化總經理郝廣才擔任頒獎人，展現台灣出版業界文化傳承的多元面貌。
新聞局指出，今年金鼎獎網路報名情形十分踴躍，總報名件數達2,836件，較95年度增加184件，成長6%，創下歷屆報名件數之新高紀錄；入圍作品中，雜誌類 54件，圖書類102件，總計156件作品，角逐金鼎獎33個獎項；本屆最佳出版獎者獲頒發獎座乙座及獎金新臺幣15萬元，最佳個人獎者獲頒發獎座乙座及獎金新臺幣10萬元。
今年金鼎獎評審委員會是由50位學者專家組成，分為雜誌與圖書兩類，雜誌類委員有：朱文儀、何寄澎、邱淑女（秀芷）、楊雅惠、簡楚瑛、全中平、莊坤良、黃慕萱、盧秀琴、蘇雪玉、王泰俐、林淇瀁（向陽）、盧世祥、盧郁佳、蘇偉貞、林文昌、翁美娥、陳敏明、楊憲郎、謝三泰。
圖書類委員有：李清志、陳若琳、詹素娟、蔣慧仙、劉益昌、李偉文、施信民、黃寶儀、翁秀琪、張德聰、劉維公、李敏勇、陳國城（舞鶴）、許俊雅、楊翠、廖輝英、史擷詠、李道明、夏學理、顏綠芬、顏娟英、朱學恒、姜振台（阿推）、游素蘭、邱若山、李振清、查岱山、黃雪霞、陳蒼多、簡瑛瑛。

親愛的老婆大人～展信愉悅 情人節黑皮
我知道妳很擔心我在這邊的狀況，但是我真的用說的我不知道怎麼說，所以我用寫的，現在只有紙筆才懂偶我的心，哈！反正這裡的生活很好，不像當兵要強迫自己去幹嘛，有什麼問題我自己也會跟他們說，每天的生活滿好的，很正常，妳也知道我已經二年多沒有像現在停藥那摸久了，之前住在家裡的時候，我的心思都沒有在家，不管對家人、事情、小孩我都沒有反應或感覺，只喜歡等電話叫，就又出去搞東西，當時我都一直想說從這些東西玩到膩了，除了號仔我不知還有什麼可以玩，在這上課之後，我除了不想再去碰藥，也又把興趣找回來，不用再用毒品才有精神力氣去做、去玩。
反正恁爸在這邊很好，如果這邊不好的話我自己就走了阿！妳也不要自己黑白想，順便跟我爸、媽說不用擔心我，這邊的所有人都很好逗陣。
順便跟我姐說一下謝謝，感謝她當初對我這個小弟的用心～

北電和各大學的共同研究將可支援以 Hyperconnectivity 為潮流的通訊新時代，在這個新時代裡，無論是存在於人與人、人與機器或機器與機器之間的各式各樣連結都將被實現。
北電為了提升競爭優勢，並促進 4G 行動寬頻技術的推演，已與多家頂尖大學發展長期的研究夥伴關係，包括國立台灣大學、加拿大的滑鐵盧大學 (University of Waterloo) 以及美國的德州大學奧斯汀分校 (The University of Texas at Austin)。另外，俄羅斯最大的電信研發服務供應商 Mera Networks 及德國的耶門諾科技大學 (Technische Universitaet Ilmenau) 也相繼成為北電新的研究夥伴。北電和這些大學共同合作的研究是專為改善頻譜效益、以及縮短北電 4G 行動寬頻解決方案的上市時間而設計，其中包括行動 WiMAX (IEEE 802.16e) 、長期演進 (LTE) 和 超級行動寬頻 (UMB) 行動電話標準。

2007年台北國際航太科技暨國防工業展」明日照常舉行
「2007年台北國際航太科技暨國防工業展」明日照常舉行
「2007年台北國際航太科技暨國防工業展」明(18)日照常舉行，展出地點為台北世貿中心展覽1館1樓，惟展出時間略有調整，即延後1個小時開展，展出時間自上午10點至下午6點，開放一般民眾免費參觀。參觀時請由信義路或基隆路大門口入場。
「2007年台北國際航太科技暨國防工業展」自8月16日展出2天以來，已吸引許多相關業者進場參觀，預計展到19日，18日起開放一般民眾免費參觀。（謝絕12歲以下孩童入場）

如何有效的處理毒癮”這個最根本的問如何有效的處理毒癮”這個最根本的問
今年從年初的藝人吸毒案件，到法務部（7/16日）實施全國大減刑，關於”毒品”的問題，幾乎每日登上新聞媒體。”毒品” 所衍生出來的問題：竊盜、搶奪、殺人、車禍、販毒、暴力、偏差價值觀、不良的風氣典範、一波波的掃毒與緝毒…等，一再登上檯面。
但是關於”如何有效的處理毒癮”這個最根本的問題，卻很少提及，在此有關於”戒毒”的相關好消息，希望能給社會帶來一點希望，這是本教育中心一直堅持在做的事，根本的解決之道~由重新再教育，恢復罪犯的自尊心開始！

戒斷課程完成

今天我做了TR演練“睜眼”，演練完後突然覺得週遭的事物清晰明亮了許多，一切感覺清楚實在，比照剛來時的矇矓，現在的我真實多了，真開心，我知道進步的空間還很多，努力，加油了!
戒斷這期間很感謝每位新生活教育中心的人員，因你們的指導與照顧讓我得已面對自己走出過去，我對未來的日子充滿期待，這是個人生、生命很正確的指標，感恩有你們的付出，得已讓這條光明的道路延伸下去…

「威邁思電信」、「威達有線」 率先聯手
建置全台無縫隙寬頻無線通訊世界
取得南區WiMAX執照的威達有線電視公司與取得北區執照的威邁思電信公司昨(15)日共同宣佈，成立「台灣WiMAX服務策略聯盟」，成為全台第一個完成WiMAX南北整合的全區經營聯盟，務求在最短的時間內提供全台民眾一個品質優良、使用便利的無縫隙無線通訊世界，率先實現提供無線、高速、大頻寬行動影音服務的承諾。
「威邁思電信」是由東訊公司與威寶電信合資成立，取得WiMAX北區執照；「威達有線」則是由午陽集團投資，取得WiMAX南區執照。為了回應國家通訊傳播委員會鼓勵的基站資源共享、重視環保的概念，威邁思電信與威達有線電視達成共識，成立「台灣WiMAX服務策略聯盟」，希望整合雙方資源及優勢，擘劃出全台最無懈可擊的WiMAX系統，以儘速推出服務，搶得市場先機。威邁思電信與威達有線都有信心能順利在最短時間內完成系統建設，儘速提供全台消費者最優質的WiMAX整合服務。
「威邁思電信」董事長劉兆凱表示，威邁思電信對於提升台灣WiMAX產業，已在全球通訊產業佔一席之地，具有強烈的使命感，因此早在取得執照前，即確立尋求同業策略聯盟的政策，以有效整合與共享資源，不僅可降低營運成本，更可快速完成網路佈建及提供服務，掌握市場先機，而這正是WiMAX業者成敗關鍵。
劉兆凱董事長強調，「威達有線」因為擁有豐富的有線電視經營經驗，對於影音產業知之甚詳，再藉由基站共建共構、管理、維運，降低營運成本、縮短開台準備時程，以及透過已有的績優通路佈局、全台最優質的0800客戶服務系統，最能達到資源加乘效果。因此威邁思電信對於提供最優質的WiMAX服務具有高度信心，不僅要讓消費者非常便利地使用整合性行動通訊服務，也可望在全球的通訊產業舞台上大幅提昇能見度，讓台灣WiMAX產業掌握立足全球的先機。
「威達有線」董事長賴富源指出，威達有線是全國第一家取得市話執照的有線電視業者，在目前擁有的有線電視網路、網際網路與市內電話網路裡提供Triple Play的整合服務。四網合一始終是威達的企業經營願景，從爭取WiMAX執照的那一刻起，即開始積極整合現有的語音、寬頻上網、IPTV與WiMAX無線網路為基礎的衍生應用服務。威達有線不僅要將優質的四合一服務介紹給南部消費市場，更要透過策略結盟的資源整合，南北串連，將威達有線的高畫質數位影音內容快速分享給全台灣的用戶。
針對此次的策略結盟，賴富源董事長也提到，威邁思電信不僅擁有電信產業的資源與經驗，並且對於以最快速度提供最佳WiMAX服務的理念也與威達有線一致，因此雙方決定攜手儘速完成WiMAX建置並開台營運，成為台灣第一個開台營運，提供全台無縫隙的無線通訊服務。
「威達有線」與「威邁思電信」的南北結盟，在昨日雙方董事長簽訂合作意向書之後正式展開。由於國家通訊傳播委員會預定要在兩年後才有可能考慮發放另外兩張全區的WiMAX經營執照，此次雙威聯手出擊所成立的「台灣WiMAX服務策略聯盟」預計將為國內的電訊網通市場提早注入跨時代的競爭能量。

First half of 2007: 8.1 percent more passengers
During the first six months of 2007, a total of 9,702,855 passengers flew from, to or via Zurich. As compared to the first half of 2006, this represents an increase of 8.1 percent. The number of flight movements rose by 2.1 percent.

Web check-in now also available for small, medium-sized and charter airlines
More airlines than ever before are offering passengers an online check-in facility via their web sites. And the number is growing. Customers are now not only able to book their flights via the Internet but can also choose their seat and print out their boarding card right from home. After arriving at the airport, customers who have used this online facility simply hand over their baggage at a specially defined drop-off desk at the designated check-in area.
Enjoying air travel despite physical disabilities
Since 2004, legislation has been in place in Switzerland to secure non-discriminatory access to public transport facilities for the handicapped. Zurich Airport and its partners are committed to making travel as pleasant as possible for all passengers, including those who have a disability. To achieve this goal, a number of special services are available free of charge to travellers with a disability.

Airport Shopping is going to be expanded so customers can have even more choice as of 17 April 2008. Remodelling is being done on Check-in 3 level to make room for more shops that will complement the selection offered by Airport Shopping.

A culinary outing – snack bars and takeaway around Zurich Airport
If you're touring around Zurich Airport by bike or on rollerblades you can count on having plenty of options to choose from when it comes time to quell your thirst or hunger. A variety of food and drink stalls are situated along the Bike & Blade route, to satisfy everybody's appetite and thirst, whether big or small.
“La Corbeille” bar has increased its seating capacity
“La Corbeille” bar, situated on level 1 of the Airside Center, was unveiled in a new design early this year and has since been growing in popularity. In response to the heightened demand, “La Corbeille” added two new seating units just before the start of the summer holidays.

Lots of attractions at this year’s Terrace Festival
This year’s Terrace Festival at Zurich Airport (which offers attractions for visitors of all ages) will take place from 24 to 26 August. Its motto is “The Spirit of Flying”, and this year it will be an especially big event, with the festive activities encompassing the observation decks B and E, as well as Areal 102 and Eventdock.
Christmas dinner in the "Palazzo Colombino" palace of mirrors
In the tradition of the variety-style shows staged in fabulous "palace of mirrors" that were at the height of their popularity during the 1800's, the Palazzo Colombino will astound and entertain you this winter at Zurich Airport with a unique programme held in a unique venue. From 11 November to 31 December 2007, Palazzo Colombino will be "pitching its tent" at the airport on Areal 102.

Interview with Werner H. Wüest, Airport Police at Zurich Airport
The department of the Airport Police in charge of access control is responsible for all aspects of security related to passengers, freight, baggage and mail. Every day as many as 350 staff are on duty at the Zurich Airport’s access control points. Werner H. Wüest currently heads up this department, and at the end of the month he will be retiring after 33 years of service with the Airport Police. Here he talks about his experiences with the new security regulations, passengers’ feelings about airport security, and his own future in the field of aviation safety.

第31屆金鼎獎得獎名單揭曉
主題：第31屆金鼎獎得獎名單揭曉。
行政院新聞局於今（17）日下午在臺灣大學醫學院國際會議中心舉行第31屆金鼎獎頒獎典禮。今年金鼎獎主軸定位為「喜閱 金鼎」，期望全民以喜悅的心情，養成讀書的好習慣，建立「喜閱」的書香社會。
謝志偉局長頒發特別貢獻獎予三民書局發行人劉振強，表彰他為台灣印刷文化及文化傳承所作的傑出貢獻；早年劉發行人以一己之力動用人力、物力自行研發字體正確、優美的排版系統，為台灣印刷文化事業立下根基。劉振強先生創立三民書局迄今已55年，出版社會科學、自然科學、人文藝術、大學用書、兒童、文學、史哲叢書等各領域書籍高達七千多種。此外，他並秉持文化傳承理念，陸續編纂出版工具書及古籍今譯注書刊，系列出版三民文庫、世紀文庫及滄海文庫，而獲得此項殊榮。
新聞局指出，今年金鼎獎開場儀式特別以現代舞台劇方式，顯示不同生活、不同環境、不同角度、不同身分，皆可呈現喜悅來自閱讀，處處充滿喜閱的金鼎精神。謝志偉局長並帶領出版業精英及文字工作者代表將象徵出版業終生的堅持、文字工作者不斷的自我創新以及民眾將閱讀落實於實際生活中三項喜悅元素，象徵性地倒入金鼎中，期與全民共創書香社會。
新聞局表示，在這一年一度文化出版事業的盛會中，特別邀請吳三連台灣史料基金會秘書長向陽、第30屆特別貢獻獎得主陳憲仁、財團法人國家文化藝術基金會董事長李魁賢、資深漫畫家劉興欽、資深兒童作家林良、格林文化總經理郝廣才擔任頒獎人，展現台灣出版業界文化傳承的多元面貌。
新聞局指出，今年金鼎獎網路報名情形十分踴躍，總報名件數達2,836件，較95年度增加184件，成長6%，創下歷屆報名件數之新高紀錄；入圍作品中，雜誌類 54件，圖書類102件，總計156件作品，角逐金鼎獎33個獎項；本屆最佳出版獎者獲頒發獎座乙座及獎金新臺幣15萬元，最佳個人獎者獲頒發獎座乙座及獎金新臺幣10萬元。
今年金鼎獎評審委員會是由50位學者專家組成，分為雜誌與圖書兩類，雜誌類委員有：朱文儀、何寄澎、邱淑女（秀芷）、楊雅惠、簡楚瑛、全中平、莊坤良、黃慕萱、盧秀琴、蘇雪玉、王泰俐、林淇瀁（向陽）、盧世祥、盧郁佳、蘇偉貞、林文昌、翁美娥、陳敏明、楊憲郎、謝三泰。
圖書類委員有：李清志、陳若琳、詹素娟、蔣慧仙、劉益昌、李偉文、施信民、黃寶儀、翁秀琪、張德聰、劉維公、李敏勇、陳國城（舞鶴）、許俊雅、楊翠、廖輝英、史擷詠、李道明、夏學理、顏綠芬、顏娟英、朱學恒、姜振台（阿推）、游素蘭、邱若山、李振清、查岱山、黃雪霞、陳蒼多、簡瑛瑛。

親愛的老婆大人～展信愉悅 情人節黑皮
我知道妳很擔心我在這邊的狀況，但是我真的用說的我不知道怎麼說，所以我用寫的，現在只有紙筆才懂偶我的心，哈！反正這裡的生活很好，不像當兵要強迫自己去幹嘛，有什麼問題我自己也會跟他們說，每天的生活滿好的，很正常，妳也知道我已經二年多沒有像現在停藥那摸久了，之前住在家裡的時候，我的心思都沒有在家，不管對家人、事情、小孩我都沒有反應或感覺，只喜歡等電話叫，就又出去搞東西，當時我都一直想說從這些東西玩到膩了，除了號仔我不知還有什麼可以玩，在這上課之後，我除了不想再去碰藥，也又把興趣找回來，不用再用毒品才有精神力氣去做、去玩。
反正恁爸在這邊很好，如果這邊不好的話我自己就走了阿！妳也不要自己黑白想，順便跟我爸、媽說不用擔心我，這邊的所有人都很好逗陣。
順便跟我姐說一下謝謝，感謝她當初對我這個小弟的用心～

「2007年台北國際航太科技暨國防工業展」明(18)日照常舉行，展出地點為台北世貿中心展覽1館1樓，惟展出時間略有調整，即延後1個小時開展，展出時間自上午10點至下午6點，開放一般民眾免費參觀。參觀時請由信義路或基隆路大門口入場。

今年從年初的藝人吸毒案件，到法務部（7/16日）實施全國大減刑，關於”毒品”的問題，幾乎每日登上新聞媒體。”毒品” 所衍生出來的問題：竊盜、搶奪、殺人、車禍、販毒、暴力、偏差價值觀、不良的風氣典範、一波波的掃毒與緝毒…等，一再登上檯面。
但是關於”如何有效的處理毒癮”這個最根本的問題，卻很少提及，在此有關於”戒毒”的相關好消息，希望能給社會帶來一點希望，這是本教育中心一直堅持在做的事，根本的解決之道~由重新再教育，恢復罪犯的自尊心開始！
